Temperature and Rainfall Measurement
The Challenge
The challenge was to perform rainfall measurements in an agricultural field isolated from any telephone network, with sigfox coverage.
Deploying a LoraWan network was too costly for devices located more than 100 km apart. The solution was to use the available Sigfox network.
The Solution
We designed an electronic device capable of measuring rainfall and temperature and transmitting it via Sigfox, totally autonomous with rechargeable batteries through a solar panel.
